Description
The Mercedes-Benz part number 111 094 01 48 is an electric Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor that measures intake air volume so the engine computer can inject the correct amount of fuel. It is specifically designed for early W203 C-Class models (years 2000–2002) equipped with the 4-cylinder supercharged M111 Kompressor engine, as well as similar-era CLK, E-Class, and SLK models. When this sensor fails, it triggers a Check Engine Light (often code P0101) and causes rough idling, poor fuel economy, or sluggish acceleration. If cleaning the internal sensor wire with a specialized MAF spray does not fix the issue, the unit can be easily swapped out right behind the air filter box.
